This spectrometric standard solution has been prepared from high-purity reference materials. Subboiled high-purity acid has been used to place the materials in solution and to stabilize the standard. The matrix is nitric acid as noted above in 18 megaohm deionized water. The reference materials have been assayed by optical emission spectrometry and atomic absorption spectrometry.

This 1000 µg/mL Silver solution was analyzed by ICP-MS for trace impurities. The less than values are detection limits for the method.

The Standard Concentration has been certified by spectrometric analysis against an independent source which is traceable to National Institute of Standards and Technology, Standard Reference Material No. 3151, and checked by ICP prior to shipping.

This standard is valid for 18 months from the shipping date provided the solution is kept tightly capped and stored under normal laboratory conditions.
